This is awesome...
Now that he's back, it would be awesome if you could get him bawling about his rubber chicken.
I am outside! lol

This game is a perfect metaphor for...
Ladies, when you're with your man late at night and things are going great for a few minutes and then all of a sudden there's an awful silence, and nothing happens, and you don't understand why, get out of bed, turn your computer on, and start pounding the Enter key like there is no tomorrow for a few minutes. After you finally tire out, realize what that what happens to the tornado is a perfect representation of what it's like to be your man and that sometimes he just runs out of train. LOL
If we ever went to war with Iran...
... We could leave a million laptops with this game loaded on it and win hands down. :D Talk about addictive gameplay... the difficulty curve ramps up perfectly until it turns into a sweatfest in Hard Classic Mode. So far that's the only one I can't beat. Awesome job.
Perfect game!
I played this game for about four hours last night... I'm going to play, um, "just one game" tonight before I post it on my blog. if it were a substance it would be banned for its extreme addictive qualities.
AAAA, can't type more... must play MJB again... bye
Really smooth, but a bug at the 1st boss ended it
This was a pretty solid effort, but after dying a few times at the first boss, when I came back it wasn't there and I wound up quitting. The animation and all are okay, and things react pretty smoothly once you realize you should duck instead of jumping most of the time. One other thing -- those ledge-top guys are deadly. :D
A tremendously entertaining effort.
This was exceptionally well done. While the interactions may have been a little simple (relatively speaking, I know you put a lot of effort into smooth animation) for the first gemstone quest, it was pretty fun getting to the first boss. I saved and will be back soon to finish the game. The music was incredible and radio-quality in all aspects and the sounds and graphics were crisp and smooth.
All it needs is a save feature...
Otherwise this game was a perfect balance of physics, stat-building, excellent atmospheric music, (improvable) luck and strategy. Just one small request besides the save feature: if you could make enemy bullets and your magic-dispensing orb different colors it would help me stay better focused on the gameplay.
An amazing game, with some very minor drawbacks.
At the same time there is a good amount of balance to this game, just two annoyances come to mind:
1. Sometimes you may as well be fated to lose with a horrid draw and massive life total difference, and, unless you X out of the game,
2. You lose a belt every time you lose.
While the whole game is an admirably done fight sequence set through card play, and there is a lot you can do to stay alive, mustering a final offense without Hazumi is often frustrating. I've played around 18 games now and I've been set back to the very beginning because I tried to play fair and accept the consequences of losing. Maybe a forfeit button would work as an acceptable solution for recording surrenders, and that could go toward a win-loss-forfeit record.
Still, I enjoy this game very much, and don't want to give the impression that this game isn't worth playing. If you are reading this review please do try it out and give it a chance. (And maybe X out if you're losing really badly so you don't have to play with a Girly Belt, hehe).
These puzzles are downright insidious :D
Sure, maybe some of them come down to just finding the right pixel... but there is a good variety requiring ingenuity, planning... and just plain dumb luck. :D Will you ever have a contest for different balloon types?
Hampered by technical issues but otherwise cheeky
A pretty fun game, but the website for the extras is down and I couldn't submit a high score. Would have gotten an overall 7 or 8 otherwise. Simple fun and well done.
Don't bother sending messages if you're 10 or younger and were raised with the impression you can kill people you disagree with. Cheers.
